IGPP Talk mit Heewon Seo
Self-Narrative Resistance: From the Paradoxes of Self-Narration to the Challenges of De‐narrativization and Story-Selling
In this lecture, Seo explores how personal self-narration can be transformed and distorted under the pressures of marketization and consumerism in the digital world. Based on her paper presented at TOPOI, "Between De-narrativization and Story-Selling: From the Paradoxes of Self-narration to the Concept of Self-narrative Resistance," Seo analyzes the paradoxes of self-narration and introduces the concept of self-narrative resistance, discussing how self-narration can be newly constructed in digital society.
